NE Money, the North East’s first full service money advice and solutions company has launched much to the relief of its first clients. NE Money has been set up by David Wilson (Metropolitan Finance) and Simon Davis (Citi Bank) to offer the North East practical advice and hands on solutions for any aspect of money. A service range from business finance to residential mortgages to debt management programmes has ensured they can help clients whatever their needs.
David said “the principal behind NE Money is to give money advice to people to allow them to make informed financial decisions. For many years money has been easy to get and quality money advice has been in short supply. We want to make the North East a prosperous place to live through financial stability and this can only come from people making their own decisions about their money”.
NE Money offers a simple online financial health check which gives visitors to the site the opportunity to see how their finances are fairing and the solutions which may help them move forward. The site www.nemonmey.co.uk was part funded by Businesslink and this allowed the company to invest in a consumer friendly site.
Simon said “the site has been excellent in allowing people to gain an insight into how their finances are surviving the current climate. One of our first clients came via the website and it was the guidance and information on how to manage his debts which gave him the peace of mind to deal with us. We all have financial queries everyday but often don’t know where to go to ask those personal questions – our clients know to contact us no matter how little the query”
