Give To Provide Water

Water is a major part of all our lives, but how much do you use each day?

What about other people?

1.1 Billion People don’t have access to safe running water. They could spend in some
cases up to 11 hours each day walking to the nearest spring to carry a 1 gallon container of water. They are stricken by disease due to the sanitation problems caused by unclean water.

Whilst some people are spending between 11 and 12 hours per day just collecting water to provide for their families, the average UK household uses 80 Litres of water per full bath and around 65 litres for a washing machine cycle.

You could help these people and save the journey they have to make every day to get clean water. Below are just some of the examples of what your money could provide.

£10 could train a person in Africa to maintain their community’s water supply.
£15 could help give a family of 5 access to a borehole.
£25 could help protect a spring and provide a family with safe water.
£30 could provide a latrine to improve sanitation and prevent disease.
£40 could provide a water filter for one family.

Don’t hate yourself for missing out.
