Two local business experts were part of the impressive line up at makro’s VIP event for its top commercial customers. As the Washington store unveiled its recent refurbishment, Lesley Hunter of lesleyhunter.com and Lesley Milbourne from LMC Associates were on hand to provide a business clinic and offer advice and guidance on how to boost sales, maximise profits and take advantage of the festive opportunities for makro’s customers.

According to Lesley Hunter, “It was an excellent event that demonstrated makro’s commitment to genuine partnership with their customers. It was also a privilege to be able to talk to such a wide range of business people and be involved at the front line in helping local businesses identify how they can grow and develop in the current economic climate.”

The business clinic was one of several initiatives offered by makro, including cookery demonstrations, raffles and musical presentations. The event ran simultaneously in 10 separate stores across the UK and has helped customers “take a fresh look at makro”.
