Stadium Village is one of Sunderland arc's priority development sites and will play a key part in the econimic transformation of the city centre.

Following the city-wide consultation on the Stadium Village Development Framework at the beginning of 2009 an amended development framework has now been drawn up.

The amended framework is now subject to a six week consultation between 11th November 2009 and 22nd December 2009.

The Council is now seeking views on this draft development plan prior to seeking the approval of the council's Cabinet to adopt it as a Supplementary Planning Document.
