Sunderland Software City is sharing first class knowledge with the rest of the world by inviting the software industry’s biggest names to their weekly guest blog.

The idea is to create a network of software experts and those involved in the software industry who can share their experiences and their knowledge.

Bernie Callaghan, chief executive officer of Sunderland Software City said: “There is a huge amount of talent in our region and, in order to continue the growth of software companies in the region, we must continue to grow the knowledge base both formally and informally. The weekly guest blog will give access to the knowledge, experience and personalities of some of the most successful software companies around. It will also give a sounding board to anyone in the industry who wishes to share experiences, good or bad, or who wants to build relationships with like minded people.”

Some of the companies already agreeing to share their knowledge and experience include Sage, Rozmic, Leighton, Heridian and Unified.

There will also be guest blogs from some of the main industry support organisations such as One North East, Codeworks and Sunderland Software City, giving companies and individuals the opportunity to discuss specific topics about what kind of support is available.
