Having always been hugely involved in the planning of my friends and family’s weddings and celebrations, I thought, why not make a career out of it! Most people get stressed at the very thought of planning a big occasion, I simply thrive on it!
Having done some research on what services are available in the area for event and wedding planning, as well as research on what services are available to simply dress a venue, I realized I could extend my services beyond the planning and provide some venue decoration too!
Having invested in stock such as Candelabras, Chair Covers and Bay Trees etc using suppliers from all over the world, I began my business! With the help of Business Link, I was able to receive funding towards my business plan, website, branding and marketing. It is extremely encouraging to learn that there is so much support and guidance available for people like me to follow their dreams and start up a new business!
Business is booming at the moment and we are taking bookings on a daily basis from all over the country and even further a field in Europe. I am looking forward to exhibiting at the National Wedding Show in October and taking on even more bookings for the next year and beyond!
