Click to enlarge Staff, volunteers and patients at St Oswald’s Hospice are urging local people to come forward and run for them at this year’s BUPA Great North Run, on Sunday 20th September.

Dorothy Alderton, Community Fundraiser at St Oswald’s said:
“If you’ve got what it takes to run the 13.1mile BUPA Great North Run then we would love to hear from you. We still have charity places available, so if you can pledge to raise £350 for us, please get in touch.

“We offer stacks of fundraising support, provide a running vest and offer welcome drinks, snacks and complementary massages in our tent in the charity village, at the end of the race.”

St Oswald's cares for North East adults and children with life limiting conditions. Children and families from Sunderland and South Tyneside have benefited from the services provided since 2003.

Dorothy added:
“We really hope that people across the North East will get together to support
St Oswald’s. With your help we can continue to help so many others.”
