OFFER: A free pair of hands (and a brain to go with them)
Each year we have over 200 postgraduate students who undertake
projects for 15 weeks where they need to work with a sponsor to develop something that they require.
About half their time is actively focused on the practical work for the sponsor (the other half goes on academic matters such as research, dissertation writing, etc).
We are looking for organisations who would be interested in sponsoring students: there is no cost to you beyond giving them some access to your time, and the resources that are required to do the project that you identify.
The students come from a wide range of masters courses so we can support projects in the areas of:
- Management (project management, engineering management, IT
management)
- Software Development
- Network Systems and
- Telecommunications
About 100 students are currently seeking projects.
They will do some preliminary work before July, then return in September to focus on the project, finishing at the end of November.
So, if there is something you have wanted to investigate, or develop, but haven't had the time or resources to devote to it yet (and it'd take about eight weeks full time work to do) then please get in touch to see if we can find a student who can do this for you.
