Join St Oswald’s for a night of fun, fitness and fundraising, and take steps to make a difference to the lives of local children and families!
This September, celebrate Children’s Hospice Week by taking part in the first ever Starlight Stroll in Sunderland.
The Stroll is being organised to help raise awareness and funds for St Oswald’s Hospice Children’s Service. St Oswald’s has been providing specialist care for children with progressive, life shortening conditions, and their families, from Sunderland and South Tyneside since 2003.
The five mile stroll will start at Midnight on Friday 25th September from the Stadium of Light. Everyone is welcome, male and female, family and friends, from 12 years old (12 – 16 years must be accompanied by an adult).
To register the Hospice asks for a donation of £12 per person. All participants will receive a T-Shirt (to wear on the night and during your training), fundraising support, a goody bag and a well deserved welcome breakfast and cuppa at the end of the stroll.
Although St Oswald’s do not ask walkers to fundraise a specific amount, they ask that you raise as much as you can for their Children’s Service.
