The fabulous coastline and golden beaches at Roker and Seaburn are among Sunderland's best features. However the City Council beleives that the seafront could be made even better and is considering ways to revitalise the area. before any plans are made, the council is inviting people who live in, work in and visit Sunderland to give their views so they may help shape the seafront's future.

Public consultation is taking place between 16 February and 3rd april 2009.
