This month will see a move away from the normal business subjects to consider a subject which has come to the fore in the business world (in the UK)over the last 5- 6 years. A definition found on the internet states that NLP explores the relationships between how we think (neuro), how we communicate (linguistic) and our patterns of behaviour and emotion (programmes). Lesley will expand on this definition by providing a broad overview of NLP, she will then go on to explain, with examples, how understanding and using NLP can become a strong business tool allowing individuals to think, communicate and manage themselves, and others, more effectively. It should also be noted that the elements covered can also be applied to personal relationships as well as business ones, so will be of interest to everyone in one form or another. Given at a previous business club meeting the presentation was well received and sparked a lot of interest among a variety of businesses.
